Melissa Cornwell leads strategy and product design for LauraMac’s Loan Acquisition Systems (LAS), shaping a systematic, data-driven solution that delivers a best-in-class acquisition experience for both buyers and sellers in the secondary mortgage market. With more than 20 years of experience in mortgage operations, capital markets, and technology, Melissa brings a unique blend of domain expertise and forward-thinking leadership. Her work at LauraMac focuses on streamlining processes, enhancing transparency, and creating scalable solutions that redefine how loans are acquired and sold. Outside of work, Melissa recently picked up sewing, but her greatest passion—and frequent downfall—is tackling home renovations and DIY projects with her husband.
